This first kitchen belongs to the working mum, pasta making and general domestic goddess, Canjy. She lives with her husband Russell, and has a busy lifestyle with three children coming and going, which of course means much time spent in her kitchen. We asked Canjy why she chose Harris House to design her kitchen? 'Firstly, I had seen a design Linda had done for my brother, his house is quite contempory and I was amazed at how well Linda's design fitted in with the style of his house, we decided to approach them and we were blown away by the care and consideration given over several consultations.'
'Our house is quite a classic style, but the kitchen was not designed to be a showpiece. Even though it is a showstopper, people come in to our home and it is a bit of a 'jaw dropper' which we love, however the functionality aspect is what we wanted the most. It is the kind of kitchen that makes you want to roll your sleeves up and get into'
'We were so impressed with the care and reassurance along the way, Linda (Harris House) took personal care with every detail, things like power cords being exactly where they were needed, fine details down to every knob and curve.'
'It is the star of our house. To give you an idea when Russ turned 50 and we had some caterers in, the exclamations from the caterers who just wanted to pick it up and take it home, gives you an idea of how much practicality and functionality our beautiful kitchen has.'
